Recommended Minimalist Running Shoes

 
Those of you who have been personally trained by Alasdair will know that barefoot/minimalist running is an area close to his heart. Vivobarefoot have developed an excellent range of minimalist shoes, suitable for most surfaces – on and off-road. They are also superb shoes for performing resistance training in, due to the lack of heel padding (which can affect balance) and detailed ground feel. Barefoot/minimalist running should not be attempted without previously undergoing a structured training plan and transition from traditional trainers.
